Esperanza Academy

Esperanza Academy is a tuition-free independent school that serves the community of Lawrence. They believe that everyone deserves the right to a high-quality, independent school education.

In 2019, Esperanza Academy students were asked by Haffner’s to find beauty in their local surroundings and then transform it into a design for an oil truck. “We are so proud to have partnered with this amazing school and show the beauty of the Lawrence community on one of our trucks,” said Jeff Black, Owner & CEO, Haffner’s.

Catie's Closet

Catie’s Closet improves school attendance and graduation rates, as well as the mental, emotional, and physical health of students facing poverty, homelessness, and other crises by providing free, in-school access to clothing and basic necessities and uniting with community partners to meet students’ other immediate needs.

Northeast Arc

Northeast Arc was founded in 1954 by parents of children with developmental disabilities who wanted to raise their sons and daughters as full members of the community. Over the years, Northeast Arc’s programs have expanded to support children and adults with a broader range of disabilities, including autism and physical disabilities. Today they positively impact the lives of approximately 10,000 people in nearly 190 cities and towns.

Horizons for Homeless Children

Combating the effects of homelessness becomes an even more pressing and critical mission when children are involved. Horizons for Homeless Children is leading the fight in Massachusetts to help alleviate the trauma and stress of homelessness on both children and their families by providing high-quality early education, vital opportunities for play, support for parents and crucial advocacy on behalf of some of our most marginalized citizens.

Mass Humanities

Mass Humanities creates opportunities for the people of Massachusetts to transform their lives and build a more equitable commonwealth through the humanities. They do this through grants, programs and partnerships with nonprofits around the Bay State. Their work is made possible by the National Endowment for the Humanities, Mass Cultural Council and the generosity of other donors.
